The Squeeze: A New Musical Preview

A New Musical Revue based on the middle class financial squeeze.

“The Squeeze” as a concept was acknowledged and defined in Congress by Nancy Pelosi all the way back in 1995. Today the battle has evolved into an all-out revolution spearheaded by Bernie Sanders. This is an inspirational and comedic take on how normal people cope with financial stagnation and an increasing work load. The piece is scored for four singers and small band.

This project is partially supported by an Individual Artist Program Grant from the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events, as well as a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency through federal funds provided by the National Endowment for the Arts.
